**作品について**

MEMORY OF WRINKLES（しわの記憶）は、年齢を重ねることで刻まれる「しわ」に対する社会の価値観に疑問を投げかける作品です。

現代では、美容医療の発達によって、しわのない若々しい顔が「美しさ」の基準として広く受け入れられています。しかし私は、しわは隠すべき欠点ではなく、その人が歩んできた人生や経験、喜びや悲しみを刻んだ大切な記憶だと考えています。

作品の中には ANGER、SAD、SMILE、LOVE、SUPER FUN といった言葉を散りばめました。それらは人生の中で積み重ねてきた感情の断片であり、一つひとつがその人だけの物語を形づくっています。

鮮やかなオレンジとブルーのコントラスト、顔を覆うように描かれた文字や線は、時間の流れとともに刻まれる「人生の地図」を表現しています。

この作品が、年齢を重ねることを否定するのではなく、自分だけの歴史として受け入れ、新しい美しさについて考えるきっかけになれば幸いです。

MEMORY OF WRINKLES is a digital artwork that questions society’s perception of wrinkles and aging.

Today, advances in cosmetic treatments have made smooth, youthful-looking skin a widely accepted standard of beauty. However, I see wrinkles not as imperfections to be hidden, but as precious traces of a person’s life — memories shaped by experience, joy, sadness, and the passage of time.

Words such as ANGER, SAD, SMILE, LOVE, and SUPER FUN are scattered throughout the artwork. Each represents a fragment of emotion accumulated over a lifetime, and together they form a story that belongs uniquely to one person.

The vivid contrast of orange and blue, combined with the words and lines covering the face, creates a visual “map of life” — a record gradually drawn by time and experience.

Rather than rejecting the visible signs of aging, this artwork invites us to see them as part of our personal history and to reconsider what beauty can mean.
